What Is Artificial Chocolate Made Of?
Artificial chocolate, also called imitation chocolate or compound chocolate, replaces real cocoa butter with cheaper vegetable fats like palm or coconut oil, often alongside artificial flavoring designed to mimic the taste of cacao. It's legal to sell, common in candy and baked goods, and in many cases doesn't contain much cacao at all.
